  The Awakened Child Method™
This is a 7 week program that meets weekly in small groups, for 2hrs.  The Awakened Child Method™ incorporate the Whole Child; mind, body, & spirit.  Children are facilitated and guided along the way to understand self and what cause negative outcome and behaviors; while learning to have more empathy and compassion for self and others. During each week they will learn how to identify the behaviors, how they came to be, and how they can allow these negative behaviors to shift to ones that allow their true potential to grow.

There will be an initial 1.5 hr. private consultation; we meet with parent(s) and/or child. We will collect relevant information pertaining to: medical history, medication/supplement use, diet history, behavior and social patterns.  This will allow in having a full understanding of the whole child and  whole family dynamics, so we can best facilitate during the program.  It is recommended to have at least 1-2 private sessions during the 7 week program. There is ongoing support during and after the program for the whole family.  The will get a workbook and Mp3 Mindfulness Medication to recordings to listen during each week.

Pediatric Nutritional  Therapy

Nutritional therapy for children will help the parent /caregiver  choose a variety of healthy foods to get all the nutrients needed to grow a health mind and body. Children need calories from nutrient-dense foods such as lean meats, low fat dairy, fruits, vegetables and whole grain products. It will be important to carefully consider the foods your child consume during this vital period of brain development. This is an optimal time for children to eat more foods that are nutrient-dense, and fewer sweets and treats; eat a variety of foods. During the initial one-hour consultation, we meet with parent(s) and/or child. We will collect relevant information pertaining to: medical history, medication/supplement use, diet history, behavior patterns, and feeding issues, also doing a full nutritional analyze to see how diverse your child's diet is to understanding their levels of vitamins and nutrients for the day, then  assist in developing a healthy daily intake of calories, vitamins, and nutrients.  Along with other therapies that allow for the whole child to blossom.  This will allow for you to support your developing child's mind and body.  So many of our children have been labeled ADD, ADHD, and poor impulse control, (just to name a few) with little to no look into the child as a whole.
Healthy Kids at Play
 Therapeutic Hypnotherapy
As a rule, children make excellent hypnotic clients and respond very well to Hypnotherapy. Children spend a substantial portion of every day in a state of hypnosis. For example, any time they play “pretend” or a video game, or watch TV, they are in a form of hypnotic trance. Children are also naturally suggestible to new behaviors, as their behavioral programming is not as firmly “set” as is the case with adults. Thus, for a child, changing attitudes and behaviors, erasing fears, and boosting performance through hypnotherapy is often extremely effective.
Common uses for hypnotherapy in children include:
  • Academic Performance
  • Athletics
  • Concentration and Focus
  • Disciplinary Issues
  • Fears and Phobias
Movement Therapy
Human development has created a series of primary movement and reflex patterns within every individual.  They serve mainly as the neuro-physiological basis for our protection in the cases of stress and survival.  These reflexes are also the neurological fundamental building blocks for all our learned movement and skills, and crucially influence the development of the brain and or mental and intellectual processes as we mature.  For various reasons, in utero, at birth, or later, a child may experience some trauma that affects his or her ability to properly access or utilize the developmental possibilities of these reflex patterns.  Stressful situations can also cause a child to retain or revert back to thee early infant reflexes.
Neuro-Sensory Movement Therapy can assist with:
  • Refusal to Write
  • Challenges with hand and body activities
  • Challenges as excessive pressure on a pencil or pen while drawing or writing
  • attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Difficulty with speech
  • Difficulty with coordination of gross and fine mother activities
  • Slow in thinking
  • Often has clenched fists
  • Biting on clothes or objects in the hands or  displaying a behavioral dependency
  • Seem sleepy, passive and non attentive while receiving information
  • Bonding, trust, and lack of self confidence
  • Lack of creativity in thinking
  • Only the ability to be in one hemisphere at a time
  • Much More....
Mindfulness Behavioral Therapy
The Mindfulness Behavior Therapy Program integrate mindfulness practice and principles from behavioral psychology. Mindfulness practices are useful for increasing a child's ability to have deeper, more accurate, more accepting, and more compassionate awareness of self and others. Mindfulness therapies aim to provide practical, skills-based solutions for coping with a multitude of life problems. Together, these two approaches can offer help to children, families and teachers struggling to cope with intense emotions, impulsive or difficult-to-control behaviors, anxiety, depression, and many other problems. At the same time, these approaches can help those children who do not have significant problems to strengthen and deepen their relationships to themselves, their loved ones, and others.
Children usually love Reiki and will ask you for a little Reiki session if they know one can be offered. It has been the observation of many Reiki practitioners that children respond very quickly to Reiki treatments and the benefits they experience from Reiki are many.
Children are less inhibited and more accepting than most adults and they have a natural ability to let go and surrender during Reiki treatments. Parents often comment on how their children have immediate benefits following Reiki.
Reiki therapy is safe and non-invasive. It is being used to facilitate relaxation and recovery, decrease anxiety and treat pain in hospices, nursing homes, emergency rooms, operating rooms, organ transplantation care units, pediatric, neonatal and OB/GYN units.
 Reiki can assist with:
  • Autism
  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Sleep Disorder
  • Pain
  • Phobias
  • Stress
